Dr. Maribel Aponte García, -a faculty jointly appointed by the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Social Sciences-, was invited to be the representative of Puerto Rico and the University of Puerto Rico in the GLocal Network of Food Sustainability and Dialogue of Knowledge of Latin America and the Caribbean, an entity that brings together 24 universities in the region.

For their research on resilience in business, three professors from the Río Piedras Campus of the University of Puerto Rico (RRP-UPR) obtained a grant of $ 5,000, from a research fund sponsored by the Resiliency and Business Innovation ( RBI), a program of the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust.
